45 – Rincon East RV Resort. Met up with our Canadian friends who were once again very nice and entertaining. The small resort was friendly and had a lot of activities to do. Decided to skip the 4th Street fair and USAF show, maybe next time. Visited Tombstone and Bisbee (good craft beer and mexican food). Wild West and Mining Town. Worth the drive southeast. Saw SUV stripped search @ border patrol. Drove up to Mt Lemmon and found some incredible views of the valley below. Visited Desert Botanical Garden & Zoo. Our friends took us up to Coronado Nation Forest for hike. Stopped by Pecan store on the way.
44 – Mesa Spirit RV Resort. Lots of Park Homes. Visited family in Fountain Hills. Really liked the small town in the mountains east of Phoenix. Drove through the Superstition Mountains on the Apache Trail loop – decided to stop due to dirt road – went back to an outdoor patio for food and drinks and live music @ Tortilla Flats. Will try again once we get the Jeep Wrangler. Enjoyed the Desert Botanical Gardens outside of Phoenix, especially the night show
43 – Desert Hot Springs / Joshua Tree KOA. Like the hot springs. Windy though.
